Bilt Rent Day is back March 1 with bonus points, trivia and more

Bilt Rewards is back with several Rent Day promotions for March 1. You can earn Bilt points through trivia, enjoy double Bilt points on non-rent purchases, get 50% off limited-edition art and home decor and more.

Here’s what you need to know about March’s Rent Day if you participate in the Bilt Rewards program.

Earn Bilt points through trivia

If you’re good at trivia, you can boost your Bilt Rewards balance March 1.

Bilt Rewards will give its members five trivia questions through its app March 1. You’ll get 50 points per correct answer. And, if you get all five questions correct, Bilt will unlock a sixth question worth an extra 100 Bilt points.

So, you could earn 350 Bilt points through trivia if you get all six questions correct.

Double Bilt points on non-rent purchases

As on previous Bilt Rent Days, you’ll earn double points when you use your Bilt Mastercard® to make non-rent purchases between midnight EST and 11:59 p.m. PST on March 1 (see rates and fees). You’ll earn as follows for purchases you make on Rent Day:

• Dining: 6 points per dollar spent.
• Travel: 4 points per dollar spent.
• Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar spent.
• Rent: 1 point per dollar spent.

You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points during the March 1 Rent Day. However, remember you must use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times each statement period to earn points. And if you are currently earning bonus Bilt points through a promotion — such as the 5X for 5 Days promotion or a category-specific or merchant-specific points promotion — you may not be eligible for double points on Rent Day.

Discount on Bilt Collection items

During the March 1 Bilt Day, you can redeem points for currently available Bilt Collection items through the Bilt Rewards app at a 50% discount. Bilt says the Bilt Collection contains “exclusive pieces of art, home decor, and lifestyle goods.”

To see what’s available in the Bilt Collection and buy items at a discount on Rent Day, follow these steps:

• Open the Bilt Rewards app, log in and go to the “Rewards” tab.
• Select “Collection” and look through the available items.
• If you see something you want to purchase, select it and proceed through the checkout process.

You must buy items one at a time. But Bilt Rewards says you can get a 50% discount on multiple Rent Day purchases. Items should ship within one to two weeks of your purchase.

More value for Amazon redemptions

Bilt Rewards points are typically worth just 0.7 cents each when redeemed toward Amazon purchases. But, when you redeem Bilt Rewards points at Amazon between midnight EST and 11:59 p.m. PST on March 1, you’ll get 50% more value.

To redeem Bilt Rewards points toward Amazon purchases, you’ll need to:

• Make sure you’ve linked your Bilt Mastercard to your Amazon account here.
• Add items to your Amazon cart.
• Select your Bilt Mastercard as your method of payment at checkout.
• Select “Use Bilt points” to cover some or all of your purchase with Bilt points.

However, you won’t earn any Bilt points on Amazon purchases if you redeem Bilt points. Plus, you’d still only get 1.05 cents per point when redeeming for Amazon purchases on Rent Day. TPG’s valuations peg the value of Bilt Rewards points at 1.8 cents per point, so you’ll likely still want to save your points for other redemptions.

Rent Day SoulCycle rides

Finally, Bilt will offer its monthly Rent Day SoulCycle rides March 1. To participate, buy a SoulCycle class series and book a bike in a Rent Day Ride-themed class at one of the 57 participating locations. Once you do so, you can bring a companion on your March 1 ride for no additional cost.

One lucky rider and their guest who attend a March 1 Rent Day Ride will each get a month of rent paid by Bilt.
